Mike with the blue '95 Ford Explorer
was going to meet some friends of his from work at the Safeway where we
were meeting.
They did not show up, ao he
came along with us.
Glad he could join us, we all
had a great time.
Turned out I know Mike from
work too.
I am very impressed with the capability of our Toyota's up there in the snow. I had to take a double take when I saw Billy's rig. Same color as mine, but his sits a few inches higher than mine with his lift kit.
Looking forward to getting up
there again, and explore some more.
I think we may even give the
Naches trail a run to after the snow melts from it.
Important info:
We had a few situations where
rigs were totally stuck, and driving only made it worse trying to get out.
Several had snatch straps and
shovels with them, and these two items were used to free up the stuck rigs.
Never venture into snow country,
or on any wheelin' trip without them.
They were a lifesaver for the
trip.
Todd carries his shovel on his
Yakima Load Warrior roof rack, and it came in very handy that day.
I think I will be adding one
to my rack too.
